Meet the Nomodic team
President and CEO
A focused and detail-oriented entrepreneur, Kevin Read has spent years in the construction and oil and gas industries including facilities, process control, product design, corporate strategy, and quality assurance experience. Prior to founding Nomodic, he held the position of Vice President of Operations at Telematic Controls Inc., a distributor of process control instrumentation.
Kevin’s education includes a Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship degree from Mount Royal in Calgary.
Aaron Joyes brings over 12 years of industrial and modular construction experience to Nomodic, including 7 years of construction management in the mining industry with Rio Tinto. Prior to joining Nomodic, Aaron served as COO of Northern Frontier Corp, and spent 5 years as General Manager of Operations/Construction with the Black Diamond Group. His education includes trades related and PMP certifications in Western Canada.
A leader and operations strategist in the oilfield services industry for over 35 years, Kevin Delaney plays a key leadership role as Director and Chairman at Nomodic. His extensive background includes being the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Pure Energy Services (2001 until 2012), President and CEO of Delaney Energy Services Corporation, General Manager of OPSCO 92 Industries Ltd., and Founder of KMK Wireline Services Ltd. Kevin is also a Director of Canamax Energy Ltd. and in 2005 he was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Currently the Chief Financial Officer at Steelhead Petroleum Ltd., Mr. Lacey has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Endurance Energy and Vice President of Marketing and Joint Ventures at Sinopec Daylight Energy Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Lacey was the Co-Head of Research and Managing Director of FirstEnergy Capital Corp. Mr. Lacey has been recognized by numerous organizations for industry awards including StarMine, Brendon Wood and the Wall Street Journal “Best on the Street”. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Currently serving as General Manager of Sales & Marketing for FMC Technologies Completions Services (Canada), Rick Zahariuk brings over 30 years of oilfield experience to Nomodic, including extensive time spent in Western Canada, overseas, and offshore. Prior to joining FMC Technologies, he spent over 17 years in technical sales and sales management with Computalog, Plains Perforating, Precision Drilling, Savanna Energy, and Halliburton. His education includes a Petroleum Technology degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary.
Elio Cozzi brings 35 years of diverse experience in the upstream and downstream energy sectors to Nomodic. Most recently, he worked as the Director of Field Logistics for Suncor Energy, where he was accountable for all aspects of workforce logistics including lodging, aviation, bussing, real estate and office services, global travel services, fleet vehicles, and Fort McMurray housing. Elio is also a certified professional business coach, coaching a variety of corporate clients and business owners as the owner of Achieve Business Coaching & Consulting Inc.
CPA, CA | VP Finance
Prior to joining the Nomodic team, Julia Read was a manager with MNP LLP in their Assurance Services group, conducting audits, reviews, and providing other assurance and taxation services for large private and public companies. With over eight years of experience in public practice, her broad background includes financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, and tax. Julia’s key areas of expertise include oil and gas services, manufacturing, and natural resources. Julia is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
Project Lead, Design & Production
After founding and operating a successful mid-sized, Calgary-based construction company, Jason Rodych joined Nomodic as a Project Lead. His experience managing a wide range of construction projects and multiple crews has made him a valuable addition to the Nomodic team.
Jason’s education includes a Bachelor of Chemistry Specialization Degree at The University of Alberta.
Project Lead, Field
Holding several years of diverse oil and gas experience, Greg Deutscher brings a valuable background of field-based expertise to Nomodic. From his work as a geophysical processor to time spent as a field geologist, he has been successful in coordinating a wide range of remote operations initiatives throughout the industry.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Geophysics from the University of Alberta.
With more than a decade of experience in the fields of quality control, marketing, and branding, Curtis Ince brings a wealth of creative and detail-oriented expertise to the Nomodic team. Curtis, who has also spent time in the publishing and financial industries, is responsible for Nomodic's marketing and branding, and for the maintenance and continual improvement of Nomodic’s health & safety program.
His education includes a Bachelor of Communication (Information Design) degree from Mount Royal University.
Armed with a passion for architectural visualization and high level modular design, Vancouver, BC-based Jeremiah Deutscher has worked on projects all over the world. He has spent time at award-winning architectural practices in Alberta and BC, including Perkins + Will in Vancouver, and founded Maken Visualization in 2014.
Jeremiah holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree and a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University.
Susan Demosky’s diverse administrative and interior design experience has made her an integral part of the Nomodic team. She is an award-winning Kitchen Designer (2007), and ran her own successful interior design company, Organization by Design, from 2004 to 2010.
Susan holds a Business Administration diploma from Thompson Rivers University and an interior design certificate from BCIT.
With several years of architectural design experience in a modular setting, Reka Fulei has held successful roles including Architectural Designer/Project Manager/AutoCad Manager at ATCO Structures & Logistics and Lead Architectural Technologist at Karoleena Custom Homes.
Her education includes a diploma in Construction Engineer Technology (Architecture).
